The way more legit reason for keeping out Dolphin users is to prevent cheating in online races and on the time trial leaderboard / database that Mr Bean maintains. Fact is that tons of custom tracks in CTGP contain copyrighted material and not just Nintendo but also companies like Naughty Dog could sue anyone for distributing it (Naughty Dog because of the CTR track ports). Whether or not you can play it on an emulator has zero bearing on the legality of the mod. I know that this is part of the given justification for blocking Dolphin, but honestly it's an incredibly bad argument (no offense to Mr Bean). This prevents takedown notices from Nintendo, as they can't argue piracy is required to play the mod. I never said that Dolphin couldn't emulate the SD card slot. The checks obviously targeted things that were known to not be 100% accurate, but irregardless of it it is deliberate or not, it still used Wii features Dolphin didn't accurately emulate. As for using WiiFlow, to my knowledge you MUST use an original Mario Kart Wii disk to play CTGP, it wont run off a back-up disk image. Continuing the trend from CTGP 4.4 of using custom slots to load. I use an SD Card and not sure if it runs from a USB drive. CTGP Revolution v1.02 is a custom track distribution created by MrBean35000vr and Chadderz. No, until recently Dolphin could not acurately emulate the CTGP channel. The Download page for CTGP says: To use CTGP-R, youll need: A Wii or a Wii U.
